f.       Under the direction of the Manager, Banquet, you will ensure our guests receive the best possible customer service experience. You will meet and greet guests in a professional manner and provide excellent dining service. In addition, you will ensure banquet/meeting rooms are in impeccable order before and after events.

h.      Key Responsibilities:
                                                     i.     Ensures banquet/meeting rooms are set up according to catering contracts.
                                                   ii.     Liaises with the culinary staff, Banquet Servers, and Manager, Banquet, and/or
                                                  iii.     Banquet Captain to provide excellent dining service.
                                                  iv.     Serves buffet and a la carte menu items.
                                                   v.     Maintains high level of customer service to maximize overall guest experience.
                                                  vi.     Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines.
                                                 vii.     Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager, Banquet or Banquet Captain.
Requirements:
·        Minimum high school education
·        Minimum 1 year serving experience preferably in the hotel conference / hospitality industry
·        Banquet Serving experience an asset
·        Serving it Right Certificate
·        Food Safe Certificate Level 1 an asset
·        Excellent customer service skills, including demonstrated ability to be friendly, efficient and polite
·        Working knowledge of cocktail preparation
·        Education Certificate
·        Photograph 10 copies and two full bodies in color.
·         Excellent communicator – both written and verbal English

Additional Physical Requirements:
·        Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds
