Owner Mr. Hafiz Al Asad have extensive experience in the construction, all kinds of furniture’s, home appliances and cabinet industry. 2300572 Ontario Inc. O/A Concord Furniture And Home Appliances is planning to set up own factory in Toronto Area to manufacturing furniture’s and sale home appliances to main stream population, ethnic and visible minority. Most of visible minority does not speak fluent English or French. So we need ethnic or visible minority workers from our native country so that we can easily convince and sale our products. If we sale high volume of products then we will be profitable industry and Government of Canada and Ontario Province will get more revenue from our company and also from the workers. Economy will be booming and country will be in good situation.  However, for the purpose of business planning to get more revenue and establish best industry in Canada. Over some years of being involved with the furniture’s’ and home appliances, the company owner has seen a need for a furniture factory with a broad selection of design choices, high-end finishes, along with top of the line organization, customer service, and quality. 2300572 Ontario Inc. Building a strong market position in the high-end residential, resort, and commercial development segments, the company projects revenues in large scale. The company objectives are:

To be a top cabinet supplier to luxury homes in the regional market.

Revenues to more than double Year1 levels by the end of Year2.
Aim to have 70% of sales in high-end residential customer segment.
20% of sales in mid-range residential customer segment.
10% of sales in commercial development segment.
To have a showroom within 3 months in a prominent retail space.

General Terms and Conditions of the Recruitment:

WORK SCHEDULE:
1.        THE EMPLOYEE shall work 40(forty) hours per week. He/she shall receive as per Canadian law at the rate against each job offer per hour and overtime as per regulation of the country.
2.        Wages for any hours worked over this limit. His/her workday shall begin according to schedule prepared by the management for eight hours every day or, if the schedule varies by day, specify: Sometime it may vary according to volume of works at site. It is roaster duty.
3.       THE EMPLOYEE shall be entitled to 60(sixty) minutes per day of break time (lunch, coffee breaks Etc…..)
4.      THE EMPLOYEE shall be entitled to 2(two) day(s) off per week, on Saturday and Sunday or other day as per management.
5.       THE EMPLOYEE shall be entitled to 14 DAYS of paid vacation.
6.       THE EMPLOYEE shall be entitled to 10 days of sick leave per year.
7.        WAGES AND DEDUCTIONS:
a.        We agree to pay THE EMPLOYEE, for his/her work, wages of in accordance to their job where wages are mentioned each category. These shall be paid at intervals of Bi-Weekly.
b.       We agree to pay all taxes and submit all deductions payable as prescribed by law (Including, but not limited to employment insurance, income tax, Canada Pension plan or Quebec Pension Plan).
c.        We shall not recoup from the EMPLOYEE, through payroll deductions or any other means, any costs incurred in recruiting or retaining the EMPLOYEE. These include, but are not limited to, any Amounts payable to a third-party recruiter.
8.       REVIEWING WAGE:
a.        We agrees to review and adjust (if necessary) the EMPLOYEE’S wages after 12 months of employment, to ensure they meet the prevailing wage rate for the occupation in the Region.
9.       TRAVEL EXPENSES:
a.        We agrees to assume the cost of two-way air transportation for THE EMPLOYEE between the EMPLOYEE’S country of residence and the place of work, i.e. Jamaica. (Specify the country of residence and the place of work). These costs are not recoverable by the Employer.


10.     ACCOMMODATION
a.        We agrees to ensure that reasonable and proper accommodation is available for the EMPLOYEE, and shall provide the EMPLOYEE with suitable accommodation, if necessary. If accommodation is provided, the employer shall recoup costs as outlined below. Such costs shall not be more than is Reasonable for accommodations of that type in the employment location.
b.       We will provide the EMPLOYEE with accommodation and will recoup costs at an amount of $ 300.00 per month all inclusive (month, 2 week period etc…) through payroll deductions.
11.       HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CARE INSURANCE: We agrees to provide health insurance at no cost to the foreign worker until such time as the Worker is eligible for applicable provincial health insurance.
12.      WORKPLACE SAFETY INSURANCE (Worker’s Compensation): We agrees to register THE EMPLOYEE under the relevant provincial government insurance plan. THE EMPLOYER agrees not to deduct money from THE EMPLOYEE’S wages for this purpose.
13.     NOTICE OF RESIGNATION:
a.        Should he/she wish to terminate the present contract, THE EMPLOYEE agrees to give THE EMPLOYER for this at least one week advance notice in written application.
14.     NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT: We must give written notice before terminating the contract of THE EMPLOYEE if this employee. Has completed 3 months of uninterrupted service with us and if the contract is not about to Expire. This notice shall be provided at least one week in advance.
15.     CONTRACT SUBJECT TO PROVINCIAL LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT LEGISLATION AND APPLICABLE COLLECTIVE AGREEMENTS:  We are obliged to abide by the standards set out in the relevant provincial labor standards act. In particular, We must abide by the standards with respect to how wages are paid, how overtime is calculated, meal periods, statutory holidays, Annual leave, family leave, benefits and recourse under the terms of the Act and, if relevant, collective Agreement. Any terms of this contract of employment less favorable to THE EMPLOYEE than the standards Stipulated in the relevant labor standards act is null and void.

17.  NOC: 9224 Supervisors, Furniture and Fixtures Manufacturing:
a.     Total Positions:                            2 Nos.
b.    Wages:                                             $20.00 per hour
c.     Weekly Hour:                                 40 Hours
d.     Overtime:                                        2 hours
e.     Medical Benefit:                           AS Per law of the Country
f.      Main duties:
               i.      Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers who assemble furniture and fixtures of any materials, operate woodworking machines and finish furniture to specified colour or finish.
              ii.      Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments
            iii.      Resolve work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity and product quality
            iv.      Requisition materials and supplies
              v.      Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policy
            vi.      Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
       vii.      Prepare production and other reports.
     viii.      Employment requirements
·         Completion of secondary school is usually required.
·         Experience as a furniture and fixture assembler, woodworking machine operator, cabinetmaker or furniture finisher, is usually required
18. NOC: 9492 Furniture and Fixture Assemblers
a.     Total Positions:                            6 Nos.
b.    Wages:                                             $15.75 per hour
c.     Weekly Hour:                                 40 Hours
d.     Overtime:                                        2 hours
e.     Medical Benefit:                           AS Per law of the Country.
f.      Main duties:
                                                               i.      Prepare, sand and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts using hand and power tools
                                                              ii.      Assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles using hand and power tools
                                                            iii.      Assemble a combination of parts made of wood, metal, plastic, cane or other materials to form subassemblies or complete furniture articles
                                                            iv.      Reinforce assembled furniture and fixtures with dowels or other supports
                                                              v.      Install hardware such as hinges or clasps on furniture and fixtures.
g.       Employment requirements:
                                                               i.      Some secondary school education may be required.
                                                              ii.      On-the-job training is provided.
